Thanks to Ansel Adams, many people picture Yosemite National Park in black-and-white. His iconic photographs of the sheer cliffs, soaring heights, and reflective mountain lakes truly do the area justice. But the best advice we can give you is to visit Yosemite for yourself and experience it in full color. It will take your breath away. If you seek Yosemite lodging from which to enjoy such splendor, check out the Yosemite vacation rentals on Rentalo's website.

Located in east central California, Yosemite offers wonderful weather to the traveler year-round. Winters here are mild, and the remaining seasons of the year are nearly dry, so your vacation ought not be ruined by rain. You may wish to stay in one of our Yosemite hotels or Yosemite bed and breakfasts, from where you can venture into the National Park for day after day of incredible vistas. The cliffs, waterfalls, steep mountains and deep lakes in this area were all formed over millions of years by earthquakes, glaciers and other forces of nature. The resulting brilliance almost makes it seem as if Mother Nature is showing off. One of the most famous sights is the ...
... granite face of El Capitan, which juts 3000 feet into the clear blue skies. During your time in Yosemite, keep an eye out for adventurous rock climbers scaling its massive heights.
Be sure to leave your Yosemite lodging well prepared for a day of hiking or biking. And bring your camera! You won't want to miss the spectacular waterfalls which drop hundreds of feet, including the famous Bridal Veil falls and Yosemite Falls. Your excursion may also take you by giant sequoias, mountain lakes and grand meadows. One of the first wilderness parks established as a National Park in the United States, this stretch of wilderness high in the Sierra Nevadas will leave you in awe of its beauty. And you can be a part of it by staying in one of our Yosemite vacation rentals tucked away among the trees.

Although hiking through such beauty is always a pleasure, you may want to see more of Yosemite than you can reach on foot. Perhaps you would enjoy riding through the park on an old-fashioned steam train, which opens for you many glorious sights. You can also drive through much of the park or learn more through a guided bus tour. Photography buffs absolutely must check out the Ansel Adams Gallery. However you spend your day, you will enjoy the comfort to be found in the Yosemite hotels or other Yosemite lodging you can line up through our site.

All of this natural wonder can open up to you when you choose one of Rentalo's Yosemite vacation rentals. Here you can sort through Yosemite bed and breakfasts or Yosemite hotels based upon their price, accessibility, and number of vacationers they can accommodate. You are sure to find this an easy route to reserving your Yosemite lodging. And once you've visited, you can still enjoy Ansel Adams' black and white photos while smiling in enjoyment at your own full-color memories.
