Drive European Chic With The Citroen Ds
Definitively the last word in elegance and style, the classically revamped Citroen DS Numero 9, unveiled at Beijing in April 2012, is an innovatively designed model with the looks of an executive, the interior of a well proportioned family car and the robustness of a SUV. Take a look at the Citroen DS and you will immediately recognise the suave lines of the classic coupe combining effortlessly with the elongated rear of the estate car. This bullet-shaped beauty is long and low, almost 5-metres lengthwise (almost 16 ½ feet) and offers, as one would expect from a top of the range Citroen, a smooth and comfortable drive.
The Citroen design studio in Paris has created some beautiful innovations on this model including the continuation of the floating roof, so called as it gives the illusion of not being connected to, and floating over, the car. The floating roof style was originally made popular in Citroen models DS3 and 4 and in the latest DS version is fitted out in chrome outline and has the definitive curvaceous Citroen side window panels which sweep gently into the rear window. All windows of the Citroen DS are courtesy ...

Citroen DS looks good inside and out
If the bodywork of the Citroen DS is not enough to inspire a test drive then consider the useful duality of the plug-in hybrid option (available in petrol or diesel) working in tandem with the rear axle electric motor bringing 70 horsepower and 150-lb ft torque. The Citroen DS runs on a lithium battery and is fully charged in 3 ½ hours from any domestic electrical outlet. Electrical power which is run through to the rear wheels allows for increased road grip and safety.
Whether used as a family car, a commuter car or a car to impress your friends, the Citroen DS is equal to all of these tasks and more. Drivers can relax into the drive with the knowledge that Citroen expertise has excelled in both the design and manufacture of this new Citroen DS model.
For the driver who wants to turn heads the Citroen DS is the car to drive.
