It is seen in exams conducted by Railway Recruitment Board or RRBs, in the recruitment processes of banks, particularly the nationalised banks and the public sector undertakings such as SAIL or Steel Authority of India Limited.

Organisations like RRBs have been formed because of the need to streamline the selection of employees in different categories. But, many companies have in place, their own system of recruitment by which they select the most eligible and suitable candidates from the applied lot. State Bank of India is the largest nationalised bank of the country, with huge number of employees, which it has been selecting on its own, through written exams and interviews. SAIL also adopts a similar style of recruitment, with some of its positions being outsourced to agencies for the initial screening.

It goes without saying that jobs in these particular organisations are having a huge number of applications. It is this point that needs to be stressed as to why such huge turnout in RRB, SAIL and SBI clerk recruitment 2013 is happening. People, who show these trends, can have their mindset summarised in few ...
... important which reflect their purpose of doing so.

• Young age - Whenever RRB recruitment 2013 is out, the aim is to recruit candidates at the Group D and C levels in railways. Therefore, those with matriculation and intermediate degrees can easily apply. Even people who have been circumstantially studied till graduation can get government jobs in the railways. It will be of great help to a lot of people and such a thought is surely running in the minds of thousands of applicants for the RRB recruitments.

• Education - For the SBI Clerk recruitment 2013, which would be announced in the coming days, the level of educational qualification is up to graduation, in any stream. This makes many people within the age group of 18-28, eligible for appearing in the written exam.

• Questions - Whenever the written exams for the RRBs or the SBI clerical cadres are conducted, these primarily include reasoning, mathematics, general knowledge, and few other simple topics. Lot of people are confident that they can practise through these topics and make a quick understanding of the pattern of questions, thereby increasing their chances for good performances.

• Nativity - A major factor which has also become the purpose of such a huge turnout for the SBI Clerk and RRB recruitment 2013 is that candidates can apply in their own zones, thereby being able to get employment near their native districts or headquarters. In India, this is a big impetus to change the trend of employment.

• Esteem - Working in a PSU like Steel Authority of India Limited is an achievement that gives pride to lots of people. All of such groups of people want to appear in the SAIL recruitment 2013, which is for graduate engineers or for operator cum technicians. Many other junior staff are there, who are needed to work in the administrative sections, apart from the technical jobs, which still is good for people, as long as it is in a company like SAIL.

Recruitment drives conducted by RRBs or State Bank of India or even SAIL, have various reasons and purposes for the huge turnout. In their minds, the candidates have some ideas and these thoughts drive the application patterns. In other words, this could also be called as a reflection of the trend of job scenario in the country.
