This has got to be a first. The Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl Sunday night. They received the Lombardi Trophy and held it up to the cheering fans, then… it was gone. (!!!) The trophy never made it to the team party that night. A team spokesperson confirmed to the Washington Post that no one knew the whereabouts of the trophy. Imagine the shock and dismay and panic the Ravens must have felt. Unbelievable.

Where the heck was it??? How could this most coveted of all trophies just disappear???
Mysteriously, the Lombardi Trophy turned up in time for the Monday morning press conference. The Ravens coach John Harbaugh said, “We thought we lost it.”
