Qatar Development bank is an award winning organization who conducts workshops based on entrepreneurships. Recently it conducted a global entrepreneurship week at Doha, Qatar from 11 to 17 November at the crown plaza hotel.

In GEW 2012, topics like social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, individual leadership, youth entrepreneurship, legal/financial/policy and design/creative and technology were discussed.
The GEW is considered to be the world’s largest celebration of job creators and innovators. They are known to launch start-ups which are helpful in bringing new ideas into life, expand human welfare and drive economic growth.

Qatar Development Bank at GEW 2012 ran a lot of workshops and a series of presentations at the Hotel Manar B hall which started with a welcome note to all the audience. The audience included person from every field like industry stakeholders, representative of Qatari private sector companies and entrepreneurs.

The programme manager of Qatar finance Mr. Jawaher Humaid followed with an overview history of the benefits of indirect lending, credit guaranteed product. Also he described how ‘Al Dhameen’ will play an enhancing role in private domestic sector.

The main agenda of Qatar Development Bank to organise such workshops is to promote entrepreneurship culture and to provide solutions to Qatar private sector domestic companies. This will make them achieve global standard of excellence.
