How To Prepare For Laser Hair Removal?
Any unsightly or excessive hair growth can upset any one, male or female. Many adopt different methods to get rid of this unwanted, rather to say uncomfortable condition. Among all the means Laser treatment is considered as the long lasting means, if not permanent in some cases. Of course, light skinned coarse dark hair is easier to be treated in this procedure. Mostly the men’s faces may require extra treatment to derive expected results. The growth of hair passes through many phases like anagen, telogen and catagen, but among them laser can affect only the actively growing (early anagen) hair follicles, so naturally many sessions are required to kill all the phases of hair growth. So, conclusively, better results can be obtained by several appointments / treatments with required spaces in between.
How does it work?
A laser beam passes through the skin and gets the beam converted in to heat; this heat is absorbed by the body-pigment melanin present in the hair follicle. The process effectively disables the follicles itself, thus preventing any further growth of hair. According to some trials the re-growth could ...
... be tamed up to 2 years that is why Laser Hair Removal treatment is becoming the buzz word in these days, especially in South African conditions. But remember that because of the selective photons absorptions of laser beam, only brown or black hair can be removed.
