Colors can evoke our emotions and in result may have affect on our daily life decisions. So it is important for us to know how colors can affect emotions. We hear people talking about different colors when planning how to paint their house or what shade of makeup a woman selects. But a very few people know that color means much more than that. Colors have many things attached with them. The colors people use in their offices can evoke different emotional responses in other people. It has been proven after years of research that colors do have associations with feelings and can affect your mood in both positive and negative ways. Understanding the color-emotion associations can help you make effective decisions. Red, Green, and blue are called primary colors. Almost everyone knows about them. Then why I am talking about them? Light blue is the color of stability and faith while dark blue is of knowledge, power and integrity respectively.
Green is another primary color, brings harmony and considered good for health, also depicts nature and hope. It is most calming color can be used in many shades like pale green, dark green and teal etc. dark green is the color of ambition and prosperity and also represents stability, affluence and safety. Teal is the color of emotional health and stability, olive green is for peace and harmony. Green color is one of most pleasant to the eye. Yellow color is associated with encouragement and energy. It's a cheerful color but causes eye fatigue and makes babies cry. This color is also associated with caution. Purple is obtained by mixing red and blue. It is a color of royalty, power and wealth.
As the color is not dominant in nature so it also evokes creativity and imagination through Emotional image analysis. This color also belongs to wisdom and success. Orange color is the color of enthusiasm and excitement. It also brings happiness and innovation. Dark-Orange is the color of change. Red-Orange is for health, energy and desire. Black and white colors are the purest forms of colors brings simplicity and formality. White is associated with perfection, clarity and cleanliness. Black is associated with mystery, elegance and power.
