My Kitchen Made-over From Boring To Stunning

It was a warm day and I was sitting in my kitchen with a cup of hot coffee in my hand when I came across this contest in the newspaper which had asked to send in a recipe for an unusual main course. The ad said that the winner of the contest would get a makeover for his or her kitchen.
I had been thinking of giving my kitchen a makeover for a very long time. One of the major things that had become a hitch was the time constraint and lack of motivation to find a nice décor style. When I read the ad in the paper, I jumped at the idea of participating in the contest. I sent in my entry and sat confidently as I knew I would win. I had often been appreciated for my lovely Sweet and Sour Chicken.
The phone rang and the voice on the other end told me I had won. I was happy and proud. I had won a kitchen makeover! I told the organizers that they could begin the makeover as soon as possible as I couldn’t wait to cook in a new kitchen.
The makeover started and they carefully de-cluttered the area. They asked me if I needed those tables at the corner and I told them they could replace those tables. As they threw out ...
... the tables, they installed some composite laminate corners and shelves to stock my pickles, sauces and spices.
My kitchen had countertops made of wood which had begun to crack and rot. They installed some new laminate countertops. They had chosen the most stunning looking Greenlam gloss laminate countertops installed in my kitchen. As soon as the countertops were changed, my kitchen started looking fresh and new.
I requested them to make my kitchen an area fit not for just cooking but also for dining. So, they obliged. The decorators brought in a beautiful circular dining table which served as a table where food could be prepared too.
Some plants were hung and kept near my kitchen window to add that factor of vitality and vigor. I simply loved the way they did my kitchen walls with beautiful laminate sheets. Instead of choosing very run of the mill wall papers or wall paints, they chose laminate panels for the kitchen walls.
The final outcome made me gasp for breath. The kitchen which earlier looked dull, dry and mundane had now started looking sparkling and cheerful with the new laminate fittings. I loved my new kitchen!
