Polytechnic means various techniques. In India Polytechnic courses usually known as Entry level diploma courses in the field of Engineering.
Polytechnic aims to train students to start their career in the field of engineering in the future after got their jobs provided by top most companies in India or around the world. Polytechnic Colleges in India should recognized by AICTE and UGC. These diploma courses are conducted by state board of Technical education. Polytechnic colleges in India provides many specialization fields in diploma courses like Computer engineering, civil Engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, E&C engineering, Aeronautical Engineering ,etc. These courses are equivalent to government of India.
