There are many ways for you to figure out if you are suffering from hyperhidrosis. This is a condition that is embarrassing and problematic because of the excessive sweating that the sufferer is probably going to feel ashamed about. It is something that can affect one’s entire body or it might just affect one area of their body. The thing to consider with this is that there are a variety of different options with hyperhidrosis treatment that could be right for you.

The thing that you should first do is seek a professional opinion. It is a great idea to see a doctor that specializes in hyperhidrosis treatment. One of the things that should be done is a special iodine test to make sure that the reason for the excessive sweating is not related to any underlying diseases. The way that this test is done is with an iodine solution and a dry starch powder being applied to different areas of the skin. The areas where this is applied should be the areas of excessive sweating. Then these areas are going to turn blue. When this happens a doctor will place filter paper on the areas for a time period of sixty seconds. ...
... Once the papers have been soaked with sweat, they will be weighed so that the doctor can decide if the body is producing sweat at a certain rate that would indicate that you have this disorder.

There are a variety of additional treatments for hyperhidrosis and some of theme are invasive while others are very simple. One thing to consider is that you should be using an antiperspirant instead of a deodorant. The reason for this is that the deodorant actually just neutralizes odor. The antiperspirant is going to contain aluminum chloride which is going to help you to have a decrease in the amount of sweat that is produced. It will also seal areas so that the sweat does not leak out. It is something that will work for a time period of about twenty four hours and should be washed off every day as well. These are available over the counter but a prescription version can be given to you if you need something stronger.

Another form of treatment is iontophoresis. This is done with certain areas of the body, mainly the feet or hands. When this is done these body parts are placed in a bowl of water and an electrical current is passed through it. This causes the sweat glands to reduce the amount of perspiration that they produce. It can not be used on areas of the body that can not be submerged in water.

Boxtox treatment can also be effective and is not as invasive as other options. Botox works because it blocks the nerves that release the neurotransmitters that tell the body to produce the sweat. It is a treatment that has to be repeated and only lasts for about six months though. Finally there are surgical options that are available. The main one of these is endoscopic sympathectomy. This is done to actually remove portions of the nerve trunk that causes your body to sweat.

If you suffer from Hyperhidrosis then Hyperhidrosis treatment is something that you will want to consider. The best thing to do is to check out End Sweat and see if the symptoms match yours and what treatment that you are going to be most interested in.
