The housing market is sluggish and the outlook doesn't seem to offer much cheer. Finding a buyer for the current property and moving on to somewhere bigger might have to be put on hold for a while yet. Nothing for it but to make the best use of space at home and think of some innovative techniques to free up some more room somewhere

So does that mean an extension? Not necessarily. All that expense and legal hassle with planning permission isn't particularly appealing. Salvation lies at the bottom of the garden. There's plenty of unused space down there which could be turned into an office or a studio.

Garden buildings are the smarter way to create extra space. They're affordable and they don't need planning permission. Anyone can have a new office or studio up and running at home in next to no time. It's great to have that degree of separation from the main house. Any home worker or artist would agree. A quiet separate space in the garden is perfect. It's the best way to get on with an important project or painting, without interruption from the rest of the family.

Garden offices are growing in popularity ...
... as people make the best use of the homes and space that they already have. There's no need to try and tough it out on the property market to find that extra space. Just get creative and put new eco friendly buildings in the garden instead.

With a new office or studio in the garden people can get on with those all important tasks without being disturbed. A quiet retreat at the bottom of the garden. Perfect for mum or dad to get on with important tasks. Not being able to move doesn't have to be a major problem. Drop a new building into the garden.
