From mountains and lakes, to stunning coastal walks, walking holidays in the UK offer something for everyone. Traditional villages mingle with rural hideaways and big city culture to provide walkers with a thrilling vacation that won’t soon be forgotten.

Where to Go?

There are so many places in the UK which are suitable for walking holidays that it is difficult to know ...
... where to start, so we’ll start at the top of the UK, in Scotland.

Scotland

Walking holidays in Scotland allow you to enjoy rugged landscapes, clear lochs, dense forests and invigorating mountain walks. One of the top Scottish destinations for walkers has always been Speyside Way. Right in the heart of Whiskey country, this walking holiday will take you through the foothills of the cairngorms.

England

By far the best place for a walking holiday in England is the Coast to Coast Walk which stretches from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hood’s Bay on the North Coast, taking you through quaint coastal villages and Northern towns brimming with character, with beautiful coastal scenery surrounding you all the while.

Wales

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path in Wales provides walkers with a great means of exploring the country. From Amroth in the south, the coastal path stretches along the Pembrokeshire national Park coastline to St Dogmaels in the North.
