It has an unbroken coastline of 5476 kilometers with more than 400 natural beaches and 200 bays. The length of the island in totality is 1200 kilometers. Cuba also has a diverse Fauna and flora wealth. The national bird is the Trogon Bird which is locally called the Tocororo bird. This is an onomatopoeic name conferred on it due to its singing capacity. In many areas the native fauna includes species such as the Colibri Rombipher Crocodile, Manati and the Manjuary which is a species of pre-historic fishes found singularly in the Cuban Islands. The Cuban national tree is the Royal Palm tree. The women of Cuba used the Butterfly Jasmine flower as a symbol of their continuing support to the cause of women emancipation in the 18th century, so earning the butterfly Jasmine the pride of being designated the national flower.
Cigars from Havana are celebrated and so is the Cuban food. Due to its political isolation Cuba is populated by home grown delights and is an unsullied tropical paradise perfect for the best of vacations.
