Why Should You Stay In A Privately Owned Lodge When In Windermere?

There can be as many as 51 reasons as to why one should choose to stay in a lodge and not in a hotel when holidaying in Windermere; however, I’m keeping the number of reasons to only 5. So, here are all the top reasons as to why one should look no beyond than a lodge when holidaying in this beautiful area of Lake District National Park:
• Self-Catering
All lodges in the area are fully equipped for the self-catering needs of the travellers. The lodges also cater to all budgets; from a traditional log cabin to a modern luxury lodge, the travellers will find a wide variety of options to choose from.
The best thing about self-catering is that the occupants can spend their holidays their way; there won’t be any disturbances. Perfect for post-marriage holidays!
• Dog-Friendly and Lovely Views
Many of the lodges here are dog-friendly and also offer lovely views including riverside settings. It’s going to be a lot of fun for the occupants!
• Location
The self-catering lodges for the travellers are located mainly at Limefitt Park in the Troutbeck ...
... Valley three miles from Windermere, or at White Cross Bay on the shores of Lake Windermere, just off the main road to Ambleside. The location is simply fantastic! It’ll be like sitting in the lap of the nature and clicking photo after photo.
• It’s Affordable
The lodges will roughly cost anything from £249 to £899 (Weekly and short breaks throughout the season).
• Better option than Hotels at Lake District
Lake District Hotels are great; they offer the best of accommodation and regional dishes. However, they’re costly; they really are. Someone who desires for a luxurious stay should perhaps book a room in any of the hotels at Lake District. However, if it is the cost of holidaying that bothers you all the time, it’s the lodges in Lake District that emerge as a better option.
So, if you haven’t gone out with your family for a long time, it’s perhaps the best time to head towards a great holiday destination, and what could be better than the Lake District National Park! There are numerous attractions; there is a lot to explore; you’re not going to have a minute of boredom while holidaying here. Accommodation is never a trouble in this part of the country; there are lodges, B&B’s and hotels. You can book a room in a Kendal hotel as well; the choice rests with you.
