A bike messenger is a courier who delivers goods to one site from another, travelling via bicycle. They are usually found operating in large towns and cities. They role is a demanding one, and requires the worker to have strong navigational skills. The types of items that they can be expected to transport include files, documents and various other objects. The profession can be vastly more preferable to alternative similarly-paid jobs that lack excitement and require the individual to stay in the same place all of the time. There are as many advantages to becoming a bike messenger as there are disadvantages, much like any job.
