When you have to turn and bend your neck in every possible direction from the driver's seat and check whether each and every door in the car is locked or not. Science has gifted us with numerous type of keyless remote controls that does the job in a matter of seconds.
Gone are the days when you have to turn and bend your neck in every possible direction from the driver's seat and check whether each and every door in the car is locked or not. Science has gifted us with numerous type of keyless remote controls that does the job in a matter of seconds and we can enjoy the drive care-free. Keyless Remotes are small devices that are available for two basic purposes:
1.) Central Locking
2.) Keyless Entry
These days cars are fitted with automatic electronic locking system that is connected directly to the engine control unit. The main feature of central locking is that once the driver is seated inside the car, all he is required to do is to press a button to lock or unlock all the doors manually. And when he is outside the car, he can lock or unlock the car by simply pressing the designated buttons on his ...
... remote control. Every key comes with a unique code that sends signal to the computerized system equipped in the car. Once the car is locked, an immobilizer goes off in the engine and it can only be made to work again when the computerized system detects the same code from the car key.
The latest trend in automatic control of cars is the keyless entry. These are key cards that work right from the deepest corner of your pocket or bag. They are not required to be taken out for physically operating the vehicle. Once they are within a certain defined proximity of the car, the car unlocks itself with complete easiness. And when the driver is inside the car, he can simply start it with the help of a start button installed at the location of conventional key system. The basic technical concept behind its working is that the keyless remote sends a 'pulse' which is detected by a sophisticated coding system installed in the car to lock or unlock it. Generally, the pulse can travel a distance of 30 feet or less.
They solve the complexity of operating a vehicle to a great extent. Along with their time-saving features there are many other advantages too:
1.) Central locking remotes come with fitted alarms that goes off as soon as there is a sensation of mischief.
2.) They can be used to locate a car in the parking area by locking and unlocking the vehicle simultaneously to identify from where the sound is coming from and the blinking lights also prove to be beneficial.
3.) Keyless entry allows you to open the trunk when your hands are full of shopping bags.
4.) When you forget to lock the doors or windows of a car while running late for a meeting, you don'r need to worry because the car keyless remotes will ensure automatic locking even from a far off distance.
5.) On an icy winter morning you can point the remote out of the living room window and start your vehicle a few minutes before you are ready to leave. It will ensure warmth in the interiors and sudden temperature changes can be avoided for a better health.
6.) Last but not the least, they help to minimize scrape damage from keys.
