One piece electronic cigarettes

Unlike the other two types of e-cigarettes, one piece e-cigs don’t necessarily consist of a single piece. This term often overlaps into two piece and three piece electronic cigarettes. The feature that distinguishes these e-cigs(called “e zigarette” in Dutch) from the other two is they come with a non rechargeable battery and non refillable cartridge. They are designed for disposal once the battery and cartridge runs out. The e cigarette styles commonly found within the 1 piece type include the macro, super mini and mini styles.

The main advantage of this type of electronic cigarettes is that it usually costs less than the other two types. Since one piece e-cigs are disposable, manufacturers don’t price them highly as compared to the two piece and three piece types. Another advantage is that they are great for first time use. You might have heard about electronic cigarettes and wondered which type to use as a beginner. One piece types are great for beginners since they give you the opportunity to try out e-cigs without investing much.

The main disadvantage of this type is that, since one piece e-cigarettes are disposable, buying them frequently might mean higher costs on your part.

Two piece electronic cigarettes

The two piece e-cigs are composed of two separate parts. One is the vaporizing chamber and the other is the cartomizer. The cartomizer is composed of the atomizer and the cartridge. This type of e cigarette comes with a rechargeable battery and reusable cartridge. These two parts are screwed onto each other and can be separated incase you need to refill the cartridge.

One advantage of the 2 piece electronic cigarette is that you are able to change the cartomizer whenever you want to change flavors. Another advantage is that you can refill the cartridge as well as recharge the battery. This saves costs.

The major disadvantage of two piece e-cigs is that even though refilling is possible, you will have to regularly replace the cartomizer.

Three piece electronic cigarettes

With this type of e-cigarette, the battery, atomizer and cartridge can be completely separated. The battery is rechargeable and, the cartridge refillable. This type of electronic cigarette has the same advantages and disadvantages associated with the 2 piece e cigarette.
