4. Transit visas-if you want to go via Russia to another country then you need to apply for a transit type visa this visa give you the permission for the travelling via transit type visas normally will be valid for up to three days if you are travelling by air and for ten days if you are travelling by train if your stay in Russia for less than 24 hour and you are not going outside of airport premises then no Russian visa is required.
