The Hypocrite and the Ostridge

Lotto software skeptics trumpet #4 from the rooftops. The skeptics say you can't increase your chances of winning the Lotto Jackpot because the Lotto is a random game of chance. And yet, the very same skeptics use software to make investment decisions in the stock market. Their refusal to recognize their own hypocrisy can sometimes border on whimsical. But, it's true, without high quality software, even the skeptics have a case.

There are times when I've suspected that these skeptics are somehow genetically linked to the Ostridge family. It is much easier to ignore the facts when your head is buried in the sand. You can just picture them gritting their teeth as they scrunch their eyes together so tightly that you can see the veins on the side of their head throbbing. ...
... They scream, 'Go away! Go away!' afraid that if they were forced to look at a Lotto trend, they would melt away like the Wicked Witch of the West.

So, the chances are 1:100 that the winning numbers will all be odd. Now, the same thing is true for 0 odd numbers; in other words all even.

Winners and Losers

Now, if there is a three legged horse in the 5th at Pimlico with 1:100 odds, are you going to make that bet? What about the upcoming football game where the odds are 1:100 against the Slippery Rock Silver Fish High School Reserves against the New England Patriots. Are you going to make that bet. But,inexplicitly people make that hundred to one bet every Lotto drawing. These people could use some good Lotto software.
