This is not necessary however with a VPS and so, web hosts are able to offer this type of hosting at a significantly smaller cost.

VPS is often a smart move to make for website owners that find their website has been receiving a much larger amount of traffic; or want to expand their website with videos, pictures, or anything else that would take a lot of resources. VPS can be a nice transition without worrying about the high cost of dedicated hosting.
