Salvia extract is perhaps the most potent form of salvia divinorum. This is because it contains the highest concentration of salvinorin-a, the chemical component which is responsible for the hallucination properties of salvia divinorum. Extracts can be obtained using fresh or dried salvia divinorum leaves and powdering them to smallest bits. The powdered leaves is then subjected into propane based solvents to completely disintegrate salvinorin-a from the leaf. This can be a long-termprocess, which might need three to five days to complete, but it will greatly benefit users as well as vendors much.

Making your own salvia extracts can be a profitable business ifyou have a strong knowledge about the effects and ability of salvia divinorum and where and whom you must cater your products. As of today, the most popular way of distributing extracts is by selling products through online means. You may have to establish your own website or blog and from there, promote your products. However, it may be difficult for a starter to bring up his business, especially if he is just starting out to sell his items over the net. This is ...
... because there are already many online businesses that provides salvia extracts for sale and they have established a good online name.

Making salvia extracts just requires a little patience, and some little knowledge. Here, we will discuss how to make powerful extracts so you can sell it to your neighbors and eventually, import to other countries, who knows, you might be the next sensational salvia extract vendors.

The things you will need:

1. 100g of leaves
2. 2 liters Propane based solvent (91% isopropyl or grain alcohol, don’t use rubbing alcohol)
3. 300ml Naphtha
4. Glass container, just a small one is enough
5. Glass dish, preferably wide
6. Tall narrow glass container
7. Pipette
8. Saucepan
9. Clean cloth (for straining purposes)

First, take out about ten grams of best salvia leaves aside, the remaining 90g will be powdered completely. A coffee grinder is the best tool for this job. Grind the leaves until powdered fine, like a powdered coffee. After that, you can now get your finely ground leaves but be careful, they might billow out as soon as you remove the lid and will scatter all over the grinder’s range.

Put your powdered leaves to the saucepan and gently pour the solvent to cover the leaves completely. Stir it for 5 minutes to make sure the solvent mixed with the powder. Leave it for eight hours and then separate the liquid from the powder using the cloth, make sure there are no solids left from the liquid. You may repeat this process twice to make sure you obtain 100% of salvinorin contents from the leaves.

After this, you need to wait for your 16 hours. Keep your solution in a dark place, do not ever touch it or see what is happening. Go out or do something else while waiting to avoid frustration. This will let other sediments to fall down, allowing for easier extraction on the next steps. After those 16 hours, you can now pour your liquid in the saucepan, make sure that it is pure liquid and no other solid things are present.

This is the ultimate waiting time, the test for your patience;you will need to evaporate the solvent in a dark, well-ventilated space. Putting a fan blowing over it can speed up the process, but if your fan is subject to sparks, you might not want to use it due to the solvent’s very flammable property. After the evaporation process, all that must be left is a mass of greasy substance. Let it dry and we will proceed to the final step.

After your sticky mass has completely dried, you can now pour 50ml of naphtha over it, dissolving the green and brown solid masses and leaving only pure salvinorin-a. After the first application, allow 30 minutes to settle than use pipette to sift up 2/3 of naphtha and eliminate it. Repeat this step 5 times or until your salvinorin-a is no longer dark colored. For the final application of naphtha, allow the remaining 1/3 to evaporate to completely leave pure 100% salvinorin-a. Now, you take the extra 10g we set aside earlier and add the pure salvinorin-a to them.

Place the salvinorin-ainto the saucepan and add to it the same amount of solvent we used in the first step. Stir it for a few minutes to ensure it has all dissolved. Add the 10g of leaf to your small container and pour the contents of the saucepan over it. Let all of the solvents evaporate and voila! You have your own 10x 10g leaf. Powder your leaf finely and you will have your very first 10x extract!
