Cerebral palsy is a neurological disorder, which is caused due to damage of motor control centers in the brain. It is mainly seen in the children before the age of three. It effects to the brain development and motor controls, which controls the movements. Because of this motor condition, it causes physical disability in human development. It can occur during child birth, pregnancy or after birth also. There are three main types in cerebral palsy. They are Dyskinetic, ataxic and spastic. This disorder forms tight muscles to make limited movement. Hence the child cannot move properly without any support. Children, who are suffering from cerebral palsy, have less muscle coordination. Child who suffers from this disorder, it is difficult to stand or walk without any support.

There are many treatments to cure cerebral palsy in children. They are therapies, medications, surgical methods and many other things. All these treatments help the kids to improve their conditions. Cerebral palsy: treatments
Physical therapy: In this therapy, therapist may give muscle training and exercises to increase the child’s strength. They may also help in improving bone flexibility, mobility, motor development and balance. You need to consult the right physiotherapist to help your child in improving their ability to walk and stand without any support. They also improve the functionalities and stretch the stiff muscles to help in avoiding muscle contractions.
Medications: These are used to improve the abilities, which can lessen the muscle tightness. It can manage spastic cerebral palsy complications. First thing is to consult a doctor about the medication treatment and ensure whether it suits your lid or not. Before starting this treatment, you should know about the risk factors of drug treatments. This treatment is mainly depends on the disorder. They should know whether it affects to only one muscle or the whole body. If it affects to only one muscle then it is called as isolated spasticity or if it affects to whole body then it is called as generalized spasticity.
Orthopedic surgery: if the disorder is not cured with the therapies, then surgery is the last method to lessen the muscle tightness. Children, who suffers from severe contractures or abnormalities, they need surgery on joints or bones to place them on correct position. These surgical methods can improve the mobility and help the children to make easier use of walkers, crutches and more.
