What Are Advanced Dental Implant Techniques?

In the field of dental implant, new techniques come from time to time and changed the process of working by modernized equipments and advanced technologies according to their nature. But there is still some basics which dentists follow. Here I am talking about the basic techniques of implants.

There are basically two types of surgical techniques :

1. The Surgical Technique Delayed Loading:-
The surgery delayed loading is further divided into two main phases:
a) Dentist insert the implant or a screw titanium, biocompatible material also used for many other implants, such as orthopedic in the bone. The bio-compatibility of the material is extremely important because the choice of material significantly limits the cases of rejection. The size of the screw varies from 3.5 to 6 mm in diameter and from 10 to 16 mm in length. Before this stage, it may require an intermediate stage with pillars provisional to promote healing of the gum and the preparation of the best conditions of the same to attach the false tooth. The surgery given immediately fixes the problems of the patient with a single design; patient will not have to wait for the time needed to verify the level of osseointegration. You can not always resort to surgery immediately loaded so the use of this technique depends largely on what is the gingival situation, if the problem is in the gum's solvable (for example a gingivitis) will suffice to wait for the period necessary for the resolution of the pathology, but if the problem is structural, it will fall back on other modes of intervention.

2.All on Four:
One interesting technique of intervention is the so-called technical All on Four. This type of technique is used in the case of cosmetic dental implants complete. Another relatively new technique is the so-called transmucosal , a minimally invasive technique, fast and quite simple but it is not suitable for everyone. In fact, when the amount of bone is poor, the transmucosal technique is not usable. For completeness we mention also to a technique now disused, the iuxtaendo . In the technique iuxtaendo dental implants are not constituted by a screw, but a titanium base with a crown that surrounds the bone. This is a less tolerated than endoosseous implants and its choice must be carefully evaluated. However, as mentioned, there are very few studies which carry dental insertion of cosmetic dental implants with this technique, considered obsolete, relatively effective and characterized by a high rate of cases of infection. These forms of dental implants may be the most varied (conical, cylindrical, blade, grid, needle etc..), the choice of one or another depends on the clinical case in question.
