The word “exotic” has come to be used more loosely over the years. Yet, when one looks at Malaysia, it is a fitting description. Located in the southern-most tip of Eurasia, a Malaysia travel deal will fulfil every far-east holiday enthusiast. With an abundance of picturesque locations, chances are you simply won’t be able to get enough.

Paradise on Earth

Before you scurry off and lose yourself in the magical nature that adorns the Malaya land, you will first notice the world-famous Petronas Towers. Dominating the Kuala Lumpur skyline, the towers are visible from just about anywhere in the Malaysian capital. While tourists are only allowed as high as the 42nd floor, it is worth having your ears pop and head spin with exhilaration as you take in the view of modern Asia for miles around.

You will also notice the vast diversity of ethnicities that contribute to Malaysia’s pulsating multi-culture. As a result, festivals and celebrations are always around the corner, which sets a carnival undertone to a vibrant lifestyle.

A landmark visit is definitely to the Genting Highlands, where on top ...
... of a mountain, perpetually immersed in clouds, amidst shocking greenery, you will find the “City of Entertainment”, with hotels, resorts, and Malaysia’s only casino, not to mention one of the highest in the world, at 5,000 feet above sea level.

After this experience, the first place to go to outside Kuala Lumpur is Penang. Here you will find Chinese temples, with the must-visit ones being the Kek Lok Si and the Snake Temple. You will be continually surprised at the staggering architecture, and sheer number of world heritage structures in this “district of history”, and when you find yourself in need of a breather, head down to the beautiful Batu Ferringhi beach, where mere sun-bathing can take you closer to coveted Nirvana.

This alone does not complete a far-east holiday, you can go to places like Pulau Redang, Perhentian, Kapas and Tioman – coastal islands that are the inspiration for the word “exotic.” Snorkel, scuba dive, or witness turtles laying eggs, for here nature is as comfortable with you as you wish to be with her.

Memories to Last a Lifetime

A Malaysia Travel Deal will provide experiences that will be memorable. It will fuel your adrenaline, pamper your tongue, and probably make you extend your stay. So although you might just end up going home, don’t worry, for Malaysia’s going nowhere.
