Many students are trying to get into jobs, after completion of their courses, with the aim that there will be a gradual progression in their careers. With this aim in mind, they are participating in various recruitment processes, and also appearing in various promotional and departmental exams. A major boost to the careers of recruits is achieved if they start their jobs with an established organisation.

In India, the armed forces are among the sought after organisations, where many people want to get employed. This is because of the wide range of options which they have in the posts and also because of the option to serve the country. With employment in Indian armed forces, especially in Indian Navy, candidates get good pay scales and can be absorbed in posts as per their eligibility. For Indian Navy recruitment 2013, a number of positions will be on offer for interested and eligible candidates. Towards the end of 2012, there has been an advertisement for Indian Navy Engineers, where a number of candidates will be recruited in the technical branches like that of electrical, mechanical, telecommunication, electronics, ...
... and few others. These positions, acquired immediately after passing out with engineering graduation, can be of great advantage for the candidates. Not only are they going to start careers from very early age, but they can also go to senior posts by promotion and such offers, if they continue in the respective departments.

Banking jobs are also having a great demand because of the respect and the nature of work. Millions of banking job aspirants are involved in the application process every year. It is no surprise that the IndusInd bank recruitment 2013 and Indian Overseas Bank recruitment 2013 would be looking at a huge turnout of candidates. Since the recruitment into the nationalised banks in India is being done through the means of IBPS CWE, the year 2013 will see millions of candidates applying for the exam. Clerical cadre CWE has already been advertised to be held in December 2012, and the probationary officer and specialist officer CWE would be held at around the month of March 2013. After the final merit list is drawn for these exams, candidates can send in their applications to IndusInd bank or Indian Overseas Bank, whenever there is the advertisement out for these banks. Since these are among the 19 nationalised banks in the country, which have agreed to have their recruitments through IBPS exams, candidates have to appear in the particular examination for that year. After entering into the different ranks in these banks, recruits can work their way up the bank hierarchy by promotion and annual increments.

It is important to have a good start in life, so that as people pass through their employment career, they can progress satisfactorily. Due to this reason, jobs in the banking sector or in the armed forces are being sought by people in large numbers. Also, there are other advantages of joining these institutions and organisations.
