The Home Decor Resolution I Took

New Year is the time when everyone thinks about newness and freshness. New Year is the time when everyone thinks of different resolutions. Resolutions are all about improving and regulating oneself for a better life. Last year while celebrating New Year’s coming I decided to take a resolution to do up my home differently!
My New Year resolution turned out to be the fun resolution which didn’t make me worried at all. I didn’t have to struggle to fulfill it, rather, I was overjoyed to get started with it and finish it! This is how started completing my resolution.
The first thing I did was to make a plan including a budget for the home decor. The budget helped me not go overboard with my money while doing up my home and helped me keep my expenses in control. Also, it helped me greatly in analyzing which aspect or items to spend more on and which items to ignore or replace with a cheaper version of them to save money on! The second thing I did was to choose interesting furniture for my home. I didn’t go for conventional furnishing and instead of that I opted for creative kind of furnishing for my home. I opted for decorative laminates furnishing which was multi-purpose. For instance, I did not go for heavy duty beds, instead I opted for bed with storage space and sofa that could open up as a bed. I decided upon multi-purpose furniture to ensure that I save space in my apartment!
The third thing, I did was shopping for some really nice accessories for my home. I went to this flee market and shopped for some really interesting accessories. I was really happy to shop for accessories as that totally changed the way my home looked. I skipped through this catalogue with decorative laminate designs and decided to buy accessories that went well with my choice of laminate furnishings! I wanted to have a decor that hung together and looked woven together.
At last my home looked stunning with new furnishing and new accessories! I was more than happy with the outcome and also to have managed to keep my resolution!
