On New Years Eve pop princess Ellie Goulding will headline the massive Sandance Festival and it has just been confirmed that Londoner Rita Ora will also be performing. The show promises to be the event of the year as mega star DJ’s Roger Sanchez, Zane Lowe and Paul van Dyk, hot favourites of our Dubai youth are also on the line up. Most of our marketing agency will be there and have already purchased tickets. At the moment Time Out Dubai are offering discounted tickets at Dhs250 but numbers are limited, so you need to be quick. What a great way for our Dubai youth to bring in the New Year!

If hip hop is your thing then you are in for a treat as eccentric rap queen Nicki Minaj will be performing live on December 28th at the Meydan Racecourse. It has finally been announced that The Stone Roses Tickets are now on sale. The guys will perform at Dubai Media City in the Amphitheatre on February 21st 2013. There has been a definite buzz around our Dubai youth communities since it was announced last week. This will be their first visit to Dubai to play live so we reckon tickets will go fast. Tickets are priced at Regular - Dhs295, Golden Circle - Dhs495.

The wonderful soul singer Macy Gray is returning to Dubai on December 6th to do an intimate concert at the Irish Village, Garhoud. The Grammy award winner will sing some of her old and new songs plus she will perform material from her album ‘Covered’ that includes singing some famous rock songs in her own unique style. Macy is working on her 7th album so we’ll be treated to some brand new tracks from her as well. Tickets are just Dhs175, so snap yours up quick as there is only a week to go!
