Baby nursery decor can be full of problems since a baby grows so fast and has such whims and fancies that keep on changing. So spending on a baby’s nursery decor can be a difficult thing to do knowing that the decor is only temporary. Of course, decor is not made on stone and can be changes whenever one feels like, still, the decor must not be so costly that when it is changed, it makes one feel painful and stressed with all that expense all over again!
So, the best thing to do is to plan well. Start planning for your baby’s nursery while you are pregnant. You must take ample rest and must plan well for the decor well. Make sure that the decor must be beautiful and your budget should not be badly affected. Do not read the needless guides as they will only make your overspend and go berserk with ideas which may turn chaotic and mismanaged!
You must have come across many articles that teach you ways to do up your baby’s nursery but have you ever come across any article that warns you against the things that you must avoid when it comes to baby’s nursery decor! Read on to know about the ‘must-avoid’ mistakes-
...
... Well, first and foremost, do not overspend. We have discussed about it enough, already and we need to make sure that we do not forget that fact that babies grow up fast so the decor must be practical which can be changed with the baby’s growing age without having to be altered altogether! So opting for furnishing made of veneers is a good option as veneers look fabulous in all kinds of rooms!
Second thing that you must take care of is to avoid completely focusing on your baby’s needs. You must know that your nursery is not all about your baby. Yes, it is a fact that you will be using the nursery as much as your baby does. Therefore, ensure that there is ample storage in the nursery that stock not just items for your baby but also items that help you take care of your baby in a better way. High pressure laminate countertops will serve as a great way to store and stock the stuff!
Third thing to take care of is avoiding the use of too many colors at once. You are right…lemon, blue and other pastel colors look fabulous but keep in mind that these colors do not have to be used all at once. The walls, the laminate colors on the cupboards, the color of the crib and the bedspreads must all go well with each other and must not look like a jungle of colors!
