In today’s world everything is dependent on the Internet. Be it gathering information about a topic, or shopping for your child’s birthday or even contacting a person living on the other end of the world, the internet comes to our rescue. For many of the working professionals, emails are an integral part of their work.

Along with the changing needs of the times the technology is also advancing to cope with it. Now, we do not require an entire ensemble of a desktop computer for going online. A laptop is sufficient for us to open the door to the World Wide Web. But for many, travelling with a laptop is not convenient. For them the Smartphone is becoming the life saver as they can surf the Internet as well as send emails.

Just like the computers, or laptop you have to go through the entire process of installing an SMTP server, the Outgoing and Incoming servers and all the other information that you needed earlier will be required here as well. The only difference is that the size of the device is small and it makes all the difference.

...
... Now, the moment you buy a Smartphone or an iPhone you will realize that it does not have all the features that you would like and that the newer model has just the right kind of apps that would be useful for your work. So, even if you are able to resist the temptation one day you will have to give in to it and buy the newer one. Given below are the steps that you will need to remove your email account from your old phone.

Power on the iPhone and select the Settings App
Tap on it and you will be taken to the Settings screen.
At the bottom of this page you will find an icon called mail and a number of other icons called contact, calendar, etc.
Tap on the button and go to the Accounts screen
In the Accounts page you will find the email accounts that you have configured on your iPhone. Click on the one that you would like to remove.
Now, you have two options. You can either tap on the off button next to it or you can scroll down and click on the Delete button in red, which will remove the entire account from your iPhone.
Once you click on the red icon you will be asked to confirm your decision to delete the account.
Tap on the Delete Account icon to delete the account and all the other information about the SMTP provider.
