Such type of saddles are actually used by riders who use to take participate in races and are well known to all aspect of riding. It is because in such type of saddles horse mouth’s rein is nowhere but rider has to completely depend on leg, horseback etc for controlling the horse movement.


Apart from that to control the horse rider has to hold two strings in one hand and has to keep his one hand free on his thighs. In short in such saddles, horse and rider use to have been in less contact with each other so there is less balancing factor too.
