Lastly, MMP9! Matrix Metallopeptidase, more popularly known as MMP9, is a member of Gelatinase B. It finds an important application in the detection and treatment of childhood asthma. It is an important antibody involved in allergetic reactions. It influences the formation and development of obstructive airway phenotypes in children, thus claiming its vitality in the treatment of childhood asthma.
