Education scenario today is acknowledged as the most competitive as ever. Both the parents and teachers of students realize this but who knows it better than the students. They all face a continuous and constant burden of outshining others. It is a very sorry state yet a fact of student’s life that every parent expects his/her ward to be the best and wants him to outshine others in each and every field. Which is certainly not possible yet students endeavor very sincerely to shine out in the crowd of the peers. Many students succeed in achieving what they want to while others don’t. However, this brings stress to all of them. Whether you are a regular school going student or a student pursuing online training stress management is very important for everyone.


Here are some important tips for stress management -


1. Time Management- key to stress management: Time management in your daily schedule is the key to stress management. If you can successfully manage time daily, you wouldn’t get stressed. Plan out a time table for studies and manage time ...
... to make the most of it. This will help you to sail through the academics quite smoothly and come up as a shining star. All you need to keep in your mind is utilize time, smartly.


2. Organize yourself: An important tip to keep in mind while managing stress is to organize yourself. Organize your day to day activities whether it is learning, playing or relaxing. While studying organize yourself and take notes in class, complete your assignments on time, do home study too in a well organized way.


3. Be optimistic: Never get disheartened by encountering failures. Be optimistic. Optimists are less stressed and depressed as compared to others, which helps them excel in their field of work. They don’t get shattered with failures rather they seek for their pitfalls and work on them to succeed. Optimism is a quality worth cultivating.


4. Sleep enough: It has been observed that it is a very common practice amongst students that they study for long hours in one go and don’t even sleep one night before the exam. This practice gives you loads of stress. It is very important to sleep for enough time to relax your nerves. In fact take power naps while studying. Take brisk breaks after an hour of study and after few hours take a power naps and sleep for a while. However, this is possible only if you manage time very well and start preparing for your exams well in advance. This will keep stress at bay.


5. Exercise: Do yoga and other physical exercises to relieve stress. Although all the physical exercises help you relieve tension and stress yet some breathing exercises are really very helpful in getting rid of the stress. Such exercises give you immense calmness, composure and focus to study well.


6. Listen to music: Music too can be a great stress buster. If you feel too stressed out, listen to some of your favorite tracks and you would feel much better.
