Wisconsin foreclosure filings jumped a reported 27 percent in southeastern Wisconsin this May, according to theJournal Sentinel.

“The big spike likely is the result of the resumption of mortgage foreclosure procedures now that major mortgage servicing banks have settled with state attorneys general over allegations of abuses and errors,” said analysts, in the Journal Sentinel.
