There used to be a time when building construction was as difficult a job as launching a rocket. They successfully pumped concrete to a considerable height and over a relatively long distance. It was not long before the concrete pump got patented in 1932 by Jacob Cornelius Kweimm.


There are basically two types of concrete pumps. While the first one is attached to a truck, the other one is attached to a trailer. The trailer mounted pumps are suitable for large construction projects as they can pump in large volumes.
