In order to gain a license, they need to pass and go through the United States Medical Licensing Examination.
In terms of benefits and insurance, self-employed geriatricians are the ones who arrange their benefits. On the other hand, those who work in hospitals and clinics are provided with health insurance, retirement plans, and paid vacations and holidays.
