BMW is fantastic car to run and superb to drive. Whoever owns a BMW doesn’t want to give it away as it is masterpiece of engineering. The 1 Series is an exciting all-rounder which leaves a strong impression. The latest 1 series has been styled on the long-established company trends. With the six speed manual gearbox the BMW and Audi A3 are on the same “response level”. BMW has fixed an EfficientDynamics1.6litre 4 cylinder engine and it comes mated with a six-speed manual gearbox which feels almost as responsive as the faster Audi. It is not as refined as Audi when it comes to the engine but the BMW is an obvious choice for long-distance travels as it has a comfortable ride and seats.

Due to the Efficient Dynamics tweaks and stop-start technology; 116d gives an impressive 48.6mpg.
