In simple words, event management is the management of various events that are organized occasionally. While organizing those, an event manager is supposed to organize only those events which will bring profits to the products or services he/she offers. An event manager also undertakes to evaluate the supposed event by judging its success rate and thus making a report on it. So, the whole idea of event management spans from conception to reporting and evaluation of an event

Depending on the role and responsibility of a professional in this field, the pay package will be decided for a personnel. Initial salary may be somewhere between 10,000 to 15000 per month. After gaining experience and money, professionals can start their own event management company. An event manager works in various positions in an industry, he can be in public relations, promotion and marketing, designing, administration etc.There is no lack of job opportunities for an event manager professional.
