I visited manali many times. The natural beauty and the cold atmosphere of the place attracts people from all national
and international destinations.Manali at hight of 1,950 m (6,398 ft) in the Beas River .
It can be also called the Valley of the Gods, because there are many old temples.I visited the main town of New Manali and,
about 2 to 3 km further on the road, the village of Old Manali on a little hill.It is very quite place and is surrounded by
snow covered mountains, deodar and pine forests, with the Beas river flowing through.I liked the beautiful traditional
houses which are made of stone, mud and wood with their slated roofs, second big noticeable thing is the apple trees
here. It’s always said, that the North is not like
the rest of India and it’s certainly true for this place.I also came to know that the face of Old Manali changes dramatically
with the seasons. In summer it is extremely busy with tourists and their requirements, and after season it is not so.
I also enjoyed trekking along with various other mountain sports and rafting in RiverBeas.
...
... If you are an adventure sposts fen then you visited manali place.
Himachal Pardesh Government youth Services and Sport Department trains the budding talents of Manali to
produce their natural skills in different types of games. There are celebrated many festival.
But Dussehra and Hadimda Devi festival are the two main festival in Manali. The festival of Dussehra has special
significance here and is celebrated with great enthusiasm in Manali and Kullu.
The Hadimba Devi Festival is also a big colourful affair in Manali and people come in from the neighbouring places to be a
part of the fair which is organised by the temple complex.
And if you are interested to shopping in Manali then go The Mall is the main shopping area in manali, selling local kullu and kinnauri shawls, rugs, caps and footwear.
I suggest that the best time to visit Manali is really at the beginning or the end of the high season – either April or September/October,
when the weather is generally nice and a bit colder than in summer and it’s not too busy with people. Now about food ,
there are variety of foods such as punjabi food, south indian food , italian food, tibetan food, chinese food is also available here.
The famous mall road of Manali has many eating range is from road side stalls to luxury rastaurants.
I also tried the fruit wine specially the Rododendron flower wine .
The apple and peach wines are also nice and the Rododendron flower wine looks like red wine and has excellent taste likeSome expencive red wines. .
I stayed in HotelSnowViewManali which made my tour easy and comfortable.
There must be about 20 to 30 restaurants, over a hundred guest houses, a few bigger hotels,
But i liked the services of Hotel SnowViewManali
