I visited my friend’s house last week. My friend called and told me that she wants to show something really special. I was totally excited and enthusiastic after her phone call and I eagerly waited for her surprise. I got dressed and went to her place to see what exactly was she going to surprise me with!
As I entered her home, she took me to her garage area and blind folded me. As she opened my blind fold, I saw that the garage was turned into a beautiful hang out zone by her. It was a mini cafe of sorts!
I just loved the way garage looked! The area felt completely transformed and completely done up. There were beautiful lights everywhere. The place was painted in bright and cheerful colors. I loved the contrasting colors of the walls in the area! All of it looked heavenly and just ethereal!
The place was very cleverly furnished. Keeping in mind the fact that garage is the area that’s connected to the outdoors and it is an area which actually needs more maintenance than other areas, the furnishing was done with laminate sheets on them. Laminates, as you know ...
... are very easily maintainable and are also strong. The laminates are durable and can stand the test of time really!
I loved the way my friend had done the whole seating in the area! She had bought these interesting cane chairs. There were bean bags too and on the floor lay the mattress, in case anyone wanted to read and cuddle up with a book or something!
For all the goodies and the coffee maker, there was a separate corner there which had nice countertop laminates installed. I loved the abstract pattern of the laminate on the countertop! It was simply fabulous!
The area was so bright and cheerful that it seemed to send such positive vibes to the people sitting in the area. The colors used in the area made the area enliven. The laminate colors and the wall colors just blended so well that they look simply stunning together!
I was so inspired this whole idea of cafe at home that I decided to build my own home cafe at my place! I love coffee and also spending time with my loved ones and since, I got such great inspiration from my friend’s cafe, I decided to build one for myself!
