Bangalore, the garden city of India, is one of the most sought after tourist destinations of the country. The hub of the IT industry, Bangalore is known for its heritage and historic sites, as well as gardens and lakes.

Mumbai is the capital city of Maharashtra. A bustling metro and a busy sea port, Mumbai is the financial capital of the country. A group of connected islands, Mumbai is a well connected city.

Though travelling by road is not a popular choice, numerous buses ply regularly between both the cities. These buses are run by both government and private agencies. The buses vary from ordinary to semi-sleeper to sleeper class and the cost of the ticket also varies according to the type of bus chosen. The bus journey can be tiresome, and it is mostly done by youngsters and backpackers who do not get a train ticket.

For the car driving fanatics the road journey from Bangalore to Mumbai is a dream as it passes through some of the most beautiful stretches in the Sahyadris. You can also take many breaks on the journey staying at hill stations like Khandala or Lonavala.

Another option is to hire a cab to travel from Mumbai to Bangalore. Not a feasible option, as this is a costly affair, a round trip would cost Rs. 25000, according to the cab chosen.

The most economical and effortless mode of transport travel from Bangalore to Mumbai is by rail. Trains depart from 3 stations in Bangalore, Yesvantpur Junction, Bangalore City Junction and Krishnarajapuram and terminate at Mumbai CSTM, Lokmanyatilak T and Dadar. The main trains connecting Bangalore and Mumbai are Udyan Express (16530), Nagarcoil Express (16340), Trivandrum Express (16332), Chalukya Express (11018) and Coimbatore Express (11014).

For those hard pressed for time, air travel is an excellent option to travel from Mumbai to Bangalore. There are around 50 flights operated by different airlines like Kingfisher, Indigo, GoAir, Jetlite and Spicejet to choose from. The flying time is around one and a half hours.

From Mumbai To Bangalore has also various travel options. Similarly for Bangalore To Chennai regular buses, train and flights are available. Visitors do not face any type of travel problems.
