Mumbai To Bangalore - Travel From The Financial Capital To The It Hub

Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra, which is also commonly referred to as the financial capital of the country, is one of the most important metros of India. As such, Mumbai is well connected with all important cities of the world, and especially other Indian cities like New Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore among others.
Bangalore, the IT capital of India is also one of the most sought after tourist destinations of the country. It presents a beautiful amalgamation of past heritage with contemporary lifestyle. Replete with natural attractions, gardens and other historic sites, Bangalore charms its way into the heart of its visitors. Trains depart from 3 stations in Mumbai - Mumbai Cst (CSTM), Lokmanyatilak T (LTT) and Dadar (DR) and arrive in any of the three stations in Bangalore - Yesvantpur Jn (YPR), Bangalore Cy Jn (SBC) and Krishnarajapurm (KJM). Some of the important trains that connect Mumbai and Bangalore are Udyan Express (16529), Nagarcoil Express (16339), Trivandrum Express (16331), Chalukya Express (11017) and Coimbatore Express (11013) among others.
Air travel is an excellent option to travel from Mumbai to Bangalore, especially if money is not a concern. There are around 50 flights operated by different airlines to choose from. Flying is the best option for the businessmen and those who are hard-pressed for time. Air travel between the two cities would only take around one and a half hours. Though costlier than train, flights are best option for busy executives and businessmen.
Another option is to hire a cab to travel from Mumbai to Bangalore. This option is costly as a round trip would cost close to INR 25000, according to the type of cab chosen. Good option if travelling with family and kids.
