You may have made a few or many attempts to giving up smoking and it has not work in the past. You should never be discouraged if your stop smoking remedies did not work. It can work. It takes a lot of determination and persistence.

This will be all the more powerful if you are quitting for yourself rather than to please someone else although quitting smoking to enhance the health of your children or other members of your household can be a great incentive. Second hand smoking is just as bad as first hand smoking so when you stop smoking; you not only help yourself, but the people around you too.

You could be adding years to their life and improving their health along with your own as secondhand smoke can cause all the problems that are to be expected with a smoker's health.

Cigarette Smoking is an addiction due to other underlying problems so all you are doing is covering up your problem and not dealing with it. You use smoking as your comfort zone as an alcohol uses this to cover up the pain and escape. So you are only fooling yourself to thinking that you can quit the habit when you are ready.

You need to do it sooner rather than later. There are stop smoking remedies that allow you to do it slowly, controlled and balanced. These can be safe and natural methods that help you to quit for good.
