Health is given a lot of importance from time immemorial. It is popularly said that health is wealth. However, we all are affected by numerous health disorders which can affect our lives. Therefore, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is very important. Two of the common health disorders currently faced by a large number of people are the Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and the chronic fatigue syndrome.

bowel syndrome symptoms are the bloating, discomfort, variations in the bowel habits and chronic abdominal pain. IBS is also called as the spastic colon and involves a symptom based diagnosis. Some other predominant symptoms are the constipation or Diarrhea. Generally the diagnosis is purely made based on the symptoms alone if the following factors like the age is less than 50 years, loss of weight, hematochezia, any signs of infection or colitis or family history of IBS is not present. IBS can happen after an infection or a stressful event or at the start of maturity.
There is no cure for IBS. The symptoms can be relieved by the treatments like varying the diet, interventions ...
... psychologically and medication. Educating the patient and maintain a good doctor and patient relationship can also help in curing IBS. IBS can further result in chronic pain, fatigue and affect our daily life.

chronic fatigue symptoms include prolonged tiredness that cannot be relieved by rest. The tiredness will not be caused by other medical conditions as well. The other symptoms are forgetfulness, problems in concentrating, confusion, joint pains, headaches, irritability, fever, muscle aches, muscle weakness, sore throat and sore lymph. The treatment for this includes Cognitive behavioural therapy, good healthy diet, sleep management, medications to decrease discomfort, pain and fever, medications to reduce anxiety and depression. Care should be taken to keep a check on the side effects caused by the medications.
