The quest for physical perfection can ironically leave people with a body that is far from perfect. Whether from running or excessive weight lifting, repetitive strain on any joints or muscles can leave the body over worked and in turn mean that numerous long-term physical problems are experienced.

However, these potential pitfalls do not mean that one should simply stay on the sofa. There will of course be far more health issues associated with too little exercise than there will with too much exercise, but by balancing the amount of exercise you do with moderation in terms of how you do it, you can ensure you stay in shape without it damaging your body.
