The invention of rechargeable batteries is a great progress. They benefit us in aspects of saving budget, environmental protection, and long time usage for various appliances. A Li-ion battery is one type of lithium batteries which refer to batteries that contain Lithium including metal Lithium, Lithium alloy and Lithium ion, Lithium polymer, etc. It is generally classified as lithium metal and lithium ion types. Lithium metal batteries are non-rechargeable with metal lithium; lithium ion ones, rechargeable without metal lithium. Lithium batteries are widely used in products such as portable consumer electronic devices.
