Your website's design is one of the most significant aspects of your site. Whether it is too cluttered or too narrowly focused, the message your website puts out can make or break your site.

I run into a lot of cases where clients are so in love with the look and feel of their website, but it is simply not working out for them. The site doesn't drive sales, and isn't built for traffic.

The hardest thing for a human being to do is change, and website owners are no different. Sometimes starting everything over from scratch is the remedy for a poorly designed sight.

When you have an online business you have competition, directly or indirectly. Your main goal is to get visitors to your website, then turn that traffic into leads or sales.

A secondary call to action could be to have your visitors sign up for newsletters so you can continually up-sell, providing great advice and tips to current and potential clients.

The last thing I want a client to do is call me with questions concerning the site. This means that my message on my site was either not clear enough, or their particular question was ...
... not answered. Maybe the navigation was too hard and they could not find what they where looking for.

I'm not a big phone call guy, so I have to convince people through visual media and content; that's why having a great website design is so important. I can convey my message, and at the same time give my potential clients information and lead them to a lead or sales by focusing my website's layout in that direction. Perception is everything.
