Ford Fiesta- A Stylish Supermini

Ford Fiesta- A Stylish Supermini
Ford is just a great car and one of the best works of Ford yet. It beats its rivals, the likes of Vauxhall Corsa and VW Polo by a great margin. It ‘s styling from inside and outside and the best driving experience makes it the best in the class. The only thing someone can put their finger on is a little bit less space. Fiesta is very good looking than most of the supermini thanks to the dominating headlights, well designed rear lights and a much curvy body. A sport body kit and larger alloy wheels come with expensive Zetec S trim which leaves the popular VW Polo far behind in looks. The cabin is also very smartly designed, where attention to detail has been given to all aspects specially the mobile inspired console, switch gear and dials.
Driving is the part where Fiesta excels. It is a fun to drive Fiesta, thanks to the sharp steering, a responsive chassis and strong road grip it is not only good on small roads but also drives like a big car on motorways. The outside noise is also at minimal. There are quite a few Ford engines to choose from, 1.25-litre with 59bhp and 80bhp, ...
... 1.4-litre with 95bhp and 1.6 litre 118bhp in petrols. The diesel option is a 1.4-litre 67bhp. There is also a 94 bhp 1.6 diesel for frugal ECOnetic which returns an average of 76 mpg.
Fiesta has a 5 star Euro NCAP crash test rating. Stability control and five airbags come as standard and there is an option available for curtain airbags. Ford cars are famous for reliability and Fiesta is no exception. A small shortfall is the cheap plastics used inside the cabin, however that’s not a big issue for the price. Ford Fiesta can comfortably accommodate everyone, doesn’t matter what shape or size they are. The steering is adjustable, and the seats are accommodating. The three door version has less space for rear passengers than the five door variant. The boot lip is a bit high but its good as compared to its rivals, the boot space increases on folding the back seats flat.
Fiesta returns a very good fuel economy and getting it serviced is not that expensive hence keeping the running costs very low. The ideal choice of engine is a 80bhp 1.25 litre petrol, which gives a good performance with a good economy of 50mpg. The1.6l diesel ECOnetic engine is the option for those who occasionally travel on motorways and stay in the city as well. It 76mpg with 87g/km of carbon emissions. Ford Fiesta is available in five trim levels, Studio is entry level, Edge comes with air conditioning and remote central locking, Zetec comes with sport body kit and Titanium is the most luxurious.
