The Impreza is an iconic, World Rally winning car that bears the striking Subaru badge but it is, in reality, only one of a range of models available from the Japanese manufacturers. Vehicles like the Legacy and the Outback have also become very popular with UK buyers that are looking for reliable cars with good performance. With a history dating back to 1915 when the Aircraft Research Laboratory first started producing aircraft for the Japanese military, Subaru is a well known and well respected manufacturer.

The blue six starred badge of Subaru is a representation of the star cluster Pleiades, which translates to Subaru in Japanese. The one large star and five smaller stars represent the companies which merged in order to create what is now known as Subaru. Fuji Heavy Industries is represented by the large star and are still the parent company although they are in a partial partnership with Toyota.

The Impreza has long been the flagship of the Subaru stable and while it has now been replaced with the hatchback WRX STi it remains popular both in rallying terms and for those looking for a performance ...
... road car with incredible stability and a great drive. Typical WRX STi models will reach 62mph in a little over 5 seconds and is limited to a top speed of 155mph.

The most recent new addition to the lineup is the BRX which is not only a traditional sports car in shape but it is the only car in the Subaru range which does not rely on four wheel drive, which the Japanese manufacturers have become renowned for. The car has been jointly manufactured by Subaru and Toyota and has already received critical acclaim for its looks and specification.

When buying a new Subaru London car buyers have many different choices thanks to the great range of cars that Subaru has to offer. From the rally pedigree of the WRX STi to the BRX created in partnership with fellow Japanese manufacturers Toyota, there are many different options available to the car buyer that requires looks, performance, and reliability from their car.
