Tips For Buying A Chevrolet In Florida
Many people view buying a new car as a unappealing experience. Oftentimes some feel the game is rigged against the buyer. However that is not the case everywhere. If you're going to be visiting a Chevrolet dealership in Florida, follow these tips to ensure you get a fair shake.
Patience is a Virtue
This is particularly true with the car buying process. If you wait until your car is broken down, you won't have the luxury of being patient, so visit a Chevrolet dealership in Florida well before you need a new car. This will give you the freedom to walk away from a deal if needed, giving you the upper hand and room to negotiate.
Choose the Right Month
You want to go when there are very few people shopping for a car. During Christmas, for example, people are shopping for gifts and aren't thinking about spending additional money for a new vehicle. That means the dealership and the salesman will be hungry for a sale and more inclined to make a deal. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas is an excellent time to visit a Chevrolet dealership in Florida.

The next best time is September when new year models arrive. The inventories at Chevrolet dealerships in Florida are more likely to lower prices, not only to generate sales during a slow period, but also to move some of the excess inventory off the lot. If you live in a part of the country with severe winter weather, that's also a good time. Go when the weather is at its worst.
End of the Month
Wait until at least the third week of the month to visit a Chevrolet dealership in Florida. The majority of the salesman's pay comes from commissions. Early in the month, it's no big deal if they lose a sale or two by driving a hard bargain. They still have the rest of the month to make it up. If you wait till near the end of the month however, they'll want a sale so it shows up on their paycheck. As a general rule of thumb, never visit a dealership on a Saturday, the busiest day of the week.
Cash Speaks
If it's at all possible, pay with cash. If you can purchase without getting a loan, your bargaining power will increase substantially. The same goes for offering a larger down payment. The more you can put down, the better deal you'll get on the overall price.
Remember that you are driving the sale. Be prepared to walk away, more than once if necessary, and follow these tips to get the best deal from a Chevrolet dealership in Florida.
