There are things in life that get the heart pumping, sometimes its as simple as the excitement of a blind date, other times its as complicated as skydiving, but for the hardcore gamers a great video game release is all it takes. There is a new exciting Beatles romp in the works brought to you by the creators of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The game is being described as a "journey" through the band's career, from its first to last album.

The details of the game have not yet been shared such as whether or not you will be able to play as the members of the band or if all the Beatles songs are in the game or even if any of the events that handicapped the band over the years will be present in the game. The Beatles-themed video game is not a rock band product, more over a celebration of the Beatles legacy; the game will allow you to experience there reign in a creative, explorative fashion.

The game is also meant to be a music making experience along with interactive performances of the legendary songs. It is said that the game has been conceived with input directly from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and the boys ...

I like people having the opportunity to get to know the music from the inside out." Slated for release late 2009 just in time for the holiday season, the game will be compatible with Rock Band instruments and video game junkies are hoping that this new found connection between the Beatles and games, will convince them to release there songs for use on the already popular Rock Band, as they are the only band that has adamantly refused cooperation in the past.

During a moment of impaired judgment even Yoko Ono was consulted in the making of the game and she had this to say, "It's cool. I love it and hope it will keep inspiring and encouraging the young generation for many decades." I'm glad we checked in with Yoko, what would we have done without her blessing.
